Sitting here,
under the shed
of infinite sky
as these winds braid
my hair, filling
the voids of
my empty soul
I come to think of
you, and the image of
your kind face creates
a silent stillness
in me; static
despite everything
else being in motion
As I lean into
the wind
to taste the
raindrops, shutting my eyes
I see yours; stoned
staring deep
into mine; shining sparkle
And suddenly I
feel my pulse race
a little faster,
my heart soar
as a kite, my chest
quake and my
lungs shrink abruptly
